Mark Pierce is a Partner with Pinnacle Rock Associates with over 22 years experience in business management and strategy and IT consulting. He has extensive experience in eCommerce, marketing, planning and distribution in Retail and Consumer Goods industries.
Before joining Pinnacle Rock, Mark held senior positions in both consulting and consumer packaged goods industries. Prior to Pinnacle Rock, Mark was Executive Vice President in charge of the western region for marchFIRST. In his position of Executive Vice President, Mark led the approximately 1000 employee organization in creating high performance, internet-based businesses and functional capabilities working with clients such as JC Penney, Williams-Sonoma, Adidas, 3Com, Compaq Computer and The SABRE Group. Prior to western region EVP, Mark was responsible for marchFIRST’s global management consulting practice. As a Partner at Prophet Brand Strategy in San Francisco, Mark led Internet and brand strategy, global marketing and relationship marketing engagements for clients including Levi Strauss & Co., The SABRE Group, Discovery Channel and Williams-Sonoma.
Prior to Prophet, Mark spent three years with Accenture’s Strategic Services working with clients such as Nike, Starbucks, Levi’s and Cisco Systems.
Before consulting, Mark was a Group Operations Executive with Procter and Gamble. During his nearly ten years at P&G, Mark held line positions with increasing responsibility in operations, logistics, customer service and brand development.
Additionally, Mark is the founder of Archetype-Solutions, a software and services company providing mass-customization outsourcing for the apparel market.
Mark received his BS in Mechanical Engineering from California Polytechnic State University at San Luis Obispo and an MBA from St. Mary’s College |
