Mark Peterson joins Nakina Systems with over 23 years of experience designing, managing, and selling OSS and EMS solutions. As Vice President of Americas Sales, Mark is responsible for account management and the execution of sales strategies across North, Central and South America. Prior to joining Nakina, Mark spent ten years with Tollgrade Communications, the world leader in access network testing and monitoring systems for telephone and cable networks, most recently in the position of President and CEO. Prior to becoming CEO, Mark managed Tollgrade’s global sales operations, growing the number of accounts from fewer than 10 to over 100, and driving sales from $45 million to over $100 million. Prior to Tollgrade, Mark spent thirteen years at AT&T Bell Laboratories, which became part of Lucent Technologies in 1996. While at Bell Laboratories and Lucent, Mark had both working and management-level positions in hardware design, systems engineering, system test, and product management. When Mark left Lucent in 1997, he was Director of Product Management for Lucent’s $100 million Testing OSS product line.Mark holds BS and MS degrees in Mechanical Engineering from Lafayette College and Duke University respectively, and an MBA in Marketing from New York University's Leonard N. Stern School of Business. |
