Mark has been working professionally with systems and network administration and programming for over 15 years and has extensive experience with Internet system infrastructure, including system integration, security analysis, network design, implementation, troubleshooting, and programming. Prior to co-founding Willing Minds, Mark was Director of Technology at StrataSource, a highly regarded managed services organization that was eventually acquired by SevenSpace. At StrataSource, Mark performed market research and led the development of the technology used to monitor and manage over 70 enterprise and e-business customers under 24x7 support contracts. Before StrataSource, Mark was Manager of Internet Services at Intelenet Communications, where he designed, implemented, and managed Intelenet's business ISP infrastructure. While at Intelenet, Mark played a significant role in the team that developed and supported Time Warner's initial foray into the cable ISP market. Mark holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Mathematics and Computer Science from the University of California at Davis as well as a Master of Science degree in Information and Computer Science from the University of California at Irvine. Additionally, Mark has earned the Cisco Certified Internetworking Expert designation (Routing and Switching). |
