Mark Miller completed his fourth season as the head equipment manager of the Avalanche, his eighth season overall with the Avalanche equipment staff.
Miller, 40, joined the Avalanche as assistant equipment manager prior to the start of the 1998-99 season. He was named Equipment Manager for 1999-00 and promoted to his current position prior to the 2002-03 season.
His duties with the Avalanche include the purchasing and inventory of the club's equipment needs, equipment maintenance, and the day to day management of the Avalanche practice facility in Englewood, Colo.
Prior to joining the Avalanche, Miller served as equipment manager for the St. Cloud State University ice hockey teams for 11 years. Mark also gained hockey equipment management experience with the Louisville River Frogs of the East Coast Hockey League and Nashville Ice Flyers of the Central Hockey League.
A native of Plymouth, Minn., Miller received an undergraduate degree in biology from St. Cloud State University in 1990. He was honored to serve as an equipment manager at the 1991 US Olympic Festival held at St. Cloud State. Mark is single and resides in Englewood. |
