On entering the IT industry, Mark followed the well-worn path from quality assurance to programming. However, he soon realized that quality assurance (QA) was his true calling. Mark’s approach to software testing emphasizes clear communication to ensure the desired results are achieved. He is actively involved in the requirements-gathering phase of projects, and matches test cases to rigorous and detailed plain English use cases. Mark strongly believes the best requirements and the best testing converge when all stakeholders can easily understand what is being specified and how the software will support real world business processes. As an experienced classroom teacher with a M.Ed. from Harvard, and a software trainer with years of experience in training and training management, Mark is also VisionFoundry’s chief trainer. |
