Mark McConnell is Regional Director of First Industrial Realty Trust's Baltimore/Washington DC region. He oversees acquisitions, dispositions, developments, build-to-suits, leasing and asset management for the region. Mr. McConnell has over 20 years of commercial real estate experience, including industrial and office development and leasing, land development, acquisitions, dispositions and value added redevelopments. Prior to joining First Industrial, Mr. McConnell served as Senior Vice President of Whitehall Industrial Properties, where he was responsible for acquiring, repositioning, redeveloping and selling over two million square feet of industrial assets, with a transaction value of over $180 million. Prior to Whitehall, Mr. McConnell was Vice President of International Real Estate at Merrill Lynch, where he was responsible for over $500 million of global corporate real estate acquisitions and dispositions. Earlier in his career, Mr. McConnell was a Managing Director for Insignia/ESG, where he was responsible for the company’s landlord representation business in Northern New Jersey. Throughout his career, he has been an active member of NAIOP, CoreNet and NACORE. Mr. McConnell received a B.S. degree in Management/Marketing from Fairleigh Dickinson University. |
