A founding principal of Ericsson Venture Partners, Mark McAndrews has over 25 years of financial management experience. His investment focus is network infrastructure, software platforms, applications, gateways and tools, terminals, and components. Prior to the firm's founding, McAndrews was COO of the Global Investment Banking Division of Merrill Lynch, where he also served as division chief administrative officer and CFO. Previously, he was president of Merrill Lynch Capital Partners, where he oversaw the management of two private equity funds totaling $700 million. McAndrews also served on the investment committee of Merrill Lynch's Technology Venture Capital Fund, whose investments included Backweb, Calico, Emulex, Metawave, Netro, Vitesse, and Vitria. He began his career as an auditor at Arthur Andersen and also worked at Standard and Poor's. McAndrews received a B.A. in Economics from Yale University and an M.A. in Finance and Accounting from New York University. |
