As Vice President, Human Resources, Mark Maynard works closely with the HR and Training Departments to ensure that our recruitment and employee development efforts are the most effective in the industry.
Mark moved to Charlottesville in 1986 after a successful career in music as a business owner, music manager, studio musician, and performer. He joined Crutchfield's call center sales team in 1986, and within two years, became a member of the first sales team leader group. In 1993, he was promoted to Director, Human Resources and Development. During his tenure, Mark has facilitated the growth of the HR and Training Departments from 1 to over 13 members, and the company from 275 to over 500 employees. In addition, he has introduced major changes to Crutchfield's recruitment, benefits, employee relations, and employee development programs.
In his role as Vice President, Mark focuses on strategic initiatives to increase productivity and reduce costs, and he looks forward to the rewarding challenges his position has in store for him. |
