Mark Lonergan is the Founder and Managing Partner of Lonergan Partners, a retained executive search firm in the Silicon Valley. Prior to founding Lonergan Partners, Mr. Lonergan was the Managing Partner for the Silicon Valley offices of Heidrick & Struggles, Inc. (NASDAQ: HSII). As the Managing Partner in Silicon Valley , Mr. Lonergan managed 82 people with 2001 revenues of nearly $35 Million. Before that assignment, he co-founded and later managed Heidrick's global Telecommunications and Internet Practices, with 75 consulting teams worldwide and revenues in 2000 of $72 Million.Prior to joining Heidrick & Struggles, Mr. Lonergan was Vice President, Sales and Marketing, at ADC Telecommunications (NASDAQ: ADCT) in Minnetonka, Minnesota. In this role, he was responsible for Sales, Marketing, and Customer Support for this $2 Billion public telecommunications equipment supplier. Back to Principals Other experience includes a ten-year career with Tymnet, a multi-national data communications company, now a subsidiary of MCI Worldcom. There he held positions of increasing responsibility including Chicago District Manager, Eastern Region Manager, and Vice President of Field Operations. In his executive recruiting career, Mr. Lonergan has led over 275 projects, roughly 60% of which were CEO and Board Director assignments for technology companies around the world. His recent clients have included: Stratex Networks, Caliper Technologies, FLAG Telecom, Virgin Mobile Services, Portal Player, Silicon Image and Yipes!.Mr. Lonergan received a Bachelor of Arts degree from Vanderbilt University in Nashville, TN and holds a Master's in Business Administration (MBA) from the Kellogg School at Northwestern University in Evanston, IL. |
