Mark Knight serves as the President & CEO of Knight and works hand in hand with Knight's well established executive management team. Mark and the Knight Management team are devoted to excellence, integrity and leadership through accountability. Mark has been committed to carrying out this philosophy throughout his career with Knight which spans more than three decades. Under Mark's leadership the company has successfully negotiated three acquisitions and has embarked on several new ventures which have resulted in tripling Knight's workforce and significantly increasing the company's revenue. Mark's belief in Knight employees and their safety, along with our clients safety, is the driving force behind Knight's above industry safety average. His continuing commitment to quality has led to the development of Knight's Quality Management System (QMS) which is designed to comply with ASQ/ISO9001:2000 Quality Model. Mark has also established a new business development program that seeks additional domestic and international opportunities. With the implementation of this business development program, Knight will continue to expand and diversify through the acquisitions of new inventory and product lines so that the ever changing needs of all Knight clients can be met. The Knight family has a long history of serving the communities in which they live. Mark has honored this family tradition by serving on several boards and a variety of foundations through out the Acadiana area. Mark has served as a board member for the Boys and Girls Club of Acadiana, Acadiana Symphony, Evangeline Area Council of the Boy Scouts of America, Our Lady of Fatima School Board, and currently serves on the St. Thomas More Foundation Board. Mark Knight earned a Bachelor of Science Degree in Business Administration from the University of Louisiana at Lafayette. Mark is also a great supporter of the University of Louisiana at Lafayette and its athletic programs. |
