Mark Johnson has served the financial services industry for over 27 years. As co-owner and CEO of Stewart Associates Incorporated (SAI), Johnson and his longtime partner, Phil Stewart, provided the technology and financial resources to restructure LSI from a consulting company into the diversified company it is today. From 1977 to 1998, Johnson and Stewart built SAI into the largest independent supplier of insurance and insurance-related technology products to the credit union industry. At the time that a major insurance company acquired SAI in April 1998, SAI was providing services to 600 credit unions nationwide.
Johnson served as LSI's CEO from June 1995 until June 1997 until Brian Downey assumed that position. From June 1997 until February 2001, Mark directed all sales and distribution of LSI's sister company, Solutions Distribution, Inc. (SDI). In February 2001, SDI's employees were merged into LSI. Johnson resumed the position of LSI's CEO in January 2002 until October 2003 when Lee Kolquist became president and CEO of LSI. |
