Mark Jewell founded RealWinWin in early 2001 to provide energy usage optimization services to owners and operators of commercial real estate. Mark has been involved in the real estate industry for more than 20 years and in the energy efficiency business for over 10 years. Prior to RealWinWin, Mark founded and ran EEFG, an energy-efficiency consultancy that designed upgrades for more than 350 buildings. Mark also has served as a Senior Vice President for a major commercial real estate investment firm in California. Starting in 1994, Mark worked closely with the US Environmental Protection Agency and was instrumental in creating and promoting EPA's Energy Star Buildings for Commercial Real Estate program. During the course of that assignment, Mark helped create software that allocates the costs and benefits of energy-efficiency upgrades in income properties. On the strength of this software, he successfully recruited building owners and managers representing more than one billion square feet of commercial real estate into the Energy Star program. Mark holds a BS degree in Economics and Finance from The Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania. |
