Mark has worked in the accounting profession since 1968 and began working with the predecessor to Imowitz Koenig & Co., LLP (IK&Co) in 1978. He is Co-Founder and Co-Managing Partner of IK&Co, and a member of Real Estate Systems Implementation Group, LLC. Mark is an expert in tax areas related to partnerships, limited liability companies, corporations and individuals. He holds a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting from the City University of New York’s Queens College and a Master’s degree in Taxation from Pace University. Mark is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, New York State Society of Certified Public Accountants (NYSSCPA), and served as a member to the NYSSCPA’s Task Force on Restructuring the Internal Revenue Service and its Partnership Taxation Committee, the latter of which he served as Chairperson. He is a member of the planned giving advisory board of the Museum of Modern Art, serves as Treasurer of the Jewish Association for Services for the Aged, and as trustee and officer of various private foundations. |
