Mark Hoffenberg is president and co-founder of AUDIOVISIONS, a Best Buy Co., Inc. brand that specializes in engineering and installing electronics systems for residential and commercial use. A true visionary in the custom installation industry, Hoffenberg’s methodologies have been featured in numerous industry trade magazines.
His early work on proposal generation and pricing methodologies has been widely adopted by the industry, a factor leading to the company being chosen as the Dealer of the Year by the Custom Electronics Design and Installation Association (CEDIA) in 1998.
Hoffenberg was chief architect of AV Wizard, the first business software application for the custom installation industry. The application gained 70 percent market share within two years of introduction. AV Wizard led to the in-house development of AUDIOVISIONS' proprietary business management software named ProIntegrator or "Pi". Hoffenberg established a best practices initiative with a number of leading integrators, to define and implement common operating standards and subsequently incorporated the methodologies into Pi. The software has become a strong competitive advantage for the company.
