Mark is responsible for all business & corporate development for Eyespot Corporation. He leads a team focused on enabling channel & OEM partners with Eyespot's video personalization technology - including domain registrars, consumer-electronic device manufacturers, display advertising networks, mobile carriers, and digital media conglomerates.Prior to joining Eyespot, Mark spent the last 7 (seven) years as part of the original founding team at StarBak Communications, a software communications company which served the video streaming needs of large enterprise customers. During his tenure, Mark developed revenue producing engagements with several key enterprise clients including Dow Chemical, Procter & Gamble, First Energy, the Cleveland Clinic, and many others across targeted vertical markets.At StarBak, as Senior VP of Business Development, he was also responsible for corporate strategy including early stage private funding, licensing of the company's intellectual property to Cisco Systems and other video-on-demand (VoD) vendors for OEM distribution, managing strategic account development and relations with Microsoft's Windows Media Group, as well as mergers and acquisitions. StarBak acquired Vividon in 2003.Prior to StarBak Mark led Strategic Accounts for a B2B eCommerce company, Neoforma, which created an online global exchange for healthcare providers and vendors. Neoforma successfully did an IPO in 2000, valuing the company at more than $3B in market capital, ranking it as one of the year's top IPOs.Mark is a graduate of Eastern Michigan University, graduating with honors from the College of Business |
