Mark Guckian is Vice President of Employee Relations and Talent Acquisition. He started in October 2007 and will oversee all field and Store Support Center HR generalist and staffing activities. In this role, Mark will partner with Field and SSC leaders to source, select, motivate and retain top talent in all Field and SSC functions. He will also help spearhead our Servant Leadership cultural transformation. Mark has extensive HR experience and comes to 7-Eleven most recently from Pizza Hut, Inc. in Dallas.
At Pizza Hut, Mark led the corporate HR & Internal Communications functions. In this capacity he helped the executive team drive Human Resources Planning, led the cultural change at the corporate Restaurant Support Center, ensured the organizational structure of corporate functions supported the company's strategy, and drove the communication strategy for all franchise and company team members.
Prior to Pizza Hut, Mark held many leadership roles in Field & restaurant support HR and staffing for Yum! Brands, Long John Silver's, A&W All-American Food, and Taco Bell. He started his career at International Automotive Corporation as an HR Manager and moved to Waffle House as a Corporate Recruiter. Mark has a bachelor's degree from Texas A&M University.
