As Vice President of Account Management for Lavastorm, Mark Garvey is responsible, as the primary customer interface, for managing the retail and wholesale product sales and delivery to the existing customer base. Mark joined Lavastorm in October of 2001 with almost 20 years of experience in the telecommunications industry. He spent 18 years at Verizon with a variety of product development and product management responsibilities. Most notably, he spent the last five years at Verizon designing and developing products in the Wholesale Markets Group where he was responsible for all CLEC interconnection and reciprocal compensation products. After leaving Verizon, Mark spent a year as Vice President of Product Development & Product Management at Log On America, a CLEC and regional ISP in the Northeast, where he directed a team responsible for the development, delivery and life-cycle management of all voice, data, DSL, ISP and Web hosting products. Mark earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Government Affairs and Economics from Florida State University. |
