Mark Fisher is Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of ABN AMRO and was appointed as Chairman of the Managing Board in November 2007.
He has been a Director of The Royal Bank of Scotland Group since March 2006 and Chief Executive of the Manufacturing division at RBS since 2000. The Manufacturing division employs 25 000 people and manages a diverse range of services supporting the Group's activities including IT Property Purchasing and back-office services functions. In this role Mark led the integration of NatWest into The Royal Bank of Scotland Group considered to be one of the largest and most successful integrations of its kind ever undertaken.
Mark is a career banker having joined NatWest in 1981. He joined RBS in 2000 following its acquisition of NatWest. He has a first class honours degree in Mathematics and an MBA from Warwick Business School. Mark is also a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Bankers in Scotland. |
