Mr. Dreher is an entrepreneur with broad experience as a senior executive and company builder. After six years at Motorola Communications, he co-founded CommNet Cellular. He helped guide the company through its formation, IPO and ultimate evolution into the dominant rural cellular carrier in the US. CommNet was ultimately sold to Verizon Wireless in 1999 for $1.3 billion. After leaving CommNet, Mr. Dreher joined start-up Nextel Communications as Regional President with responsibility for managing all operations throughout the Inter-Mountain West. He established Nextel as the leading competitive wireless carrier in the region while growing the business from start-up to more than $200 million in annual revenue. In 1999, Mr. Dreher became Managing Principal of the iVention Group, a venture capital fund focused on early stage investing in telecommunications, technology and the Internet. Mr. Dreher has a bachelor’s degree in Marketing from Colorado State University, and an MBA from the University of Denver. |
