Mark Crumpton is president – Kansas/Missouri Region for Verizon Wireless, responsible for the company’s sales and financial performance in Kansas/Missouri Region, which includes southern Illinois; St. Louis and Kansas City, MO; and Wichita and Topeka, KS. Previously, Crumpton was director of Verizon Wireless' Houston Call Center. Before that he was the Midwest area retail manager for GTE for three years. In 1995, Crumpton was named general manager of GTE in Cleveland, responsible for all distribution channels in that market, after having served in that same position for two years in Fort Wayne, IN. Crumpton was appointed commercial sales manager for GTE Mobilenet in Birmingham, AL, in 1991, after several years in sales and sales management with GE Mobile Communications and Motorola.
