Mark Connolly is Head of Citi Global Wealth Management’s Banking and Lending business, where he is responsible for the Banking, Mortgage, and Structured Lending activities within The Citi Private Bank and Citi Smith Barney. In this role, he is responsible for the structuring and execution of lending solutions that include facilities supported by commercial and residential real estate, securities, businesses, aircraft, and other interests. In addition, he is charged with tailoring and delivering a wide range of deposit, short-term investment and payment product solutions to clients of The Citi Private Bank and Citi Smith Barney. Mark joined Citi in 2005 as Head of Banking and Lending for the US Private Bank.
Prior to joining Citi, Mark held the position of Senior Vice President at Bank of America, where he was responsible for developing business strategies within its corporate and investment banking business. Mark has additional experience in the financial services industry from roles he held in strategy consulting and corporate finance.
Mark holds a MBA from the Wharton School and a BBA from the University of Notre Dame with a major in Finance.
