Mark Cavaliero is one of the founding partners of SyTec Business Solutions, and has served as the company president since the company’s inception in 1996. He has grown the Raleigh, NC based company from two employees with zero revenues to 28 employees with 4.7 million dollars revenue in 2007 by focusing on providing high quality networking products and services to businesses in the Central North Carolina and nearby regions. SyTec is one of the leading network integration firms in the area, providing and supporting products from Cisco, Microsoft, HP, IBM and many others. Mark graduated from UNC-Chapel Hill in 1990 and accepted a commission as a 2nd Lieutenant in the US Marine Corps, where he was trained in tactical radio, computer, and networking systems. He served on active duty until May 1994 as a Data Systems Officer, responsible for PC and Network planning, support and training. After leaving active duty, he worked as a Systems Engineer for both IBM and National Technology group before founding SyTec. He serves as a Lieutenant Colonel in the US Marine Corps Reserve, his current duty assignment is with Headquarters Marine Corps in Washington, DC. He is a veteran of Operation Iraqi Freedom, serving as a Company Commander with the 1st Marine Expeditionary Force during 2003. Mark lives in Apex, NC with his wife Elizabeth and their two children. |
