Mark Cao graduated from the EECS department of University of California at Berkeley with a Ph.D. degree in 2002. He worked at Philips Semiconductor in 2003 on Wireless LAN RF IC design. From Nov. 2003 to July 2005, he joined the founding engineering team of Uniband Electronics Corp., Taiwan (acquired by MediaTek) in Milpitas, CA. At UBEC, he worked on IEEE 802.11g, IEEE802.11 a/b/g combo, and ZigBee chips as a leading RF designer and engineering manager. In Oct. 2005, he co-founded Quintic Corporation and served as the first President and interim CEO until Dec. 2006. He is holding a certificate on Management of Technology from the Haas Business School of U.C. Berkeley. |
