Mark Brofka is a Vice President of the firm’s corporate advisory business.
Prior to joining Evercore, Mr. Brofka was an investment banking associate in the Global Energy practice of Citigroup’s corporate and investment bank, focusing primarily on exploration and production clients, as well as working with integrated majors, oil service companies and midstream MLP clients. Previously, Mr. Brofka spent four years in the oil and gas industry with BP Exploration in various upstream engineering roles in both Alaska and Algeria.
While with Evercore, notable transactions Mr. Brofka has been involved with include the restructuring and separation of Tyco International into three separate businesses, and the divestiture of select gas distribution and electric utility assets by Aquila Inc.
Mr. Brofka received a B.S. in Chemical Engineering from Rice University and an M.B.A. from UCLA’s Anderson School of Management |
