Bannon is an expert at building and managing cross-functional teams, delivering high ticket software solutions encompassing a wide range of technologies to the Fortune 1000, Government and Telco markets. Bannon has held P&L and Operations responsibility, significantly growing revenues in a variety of successful public and privately held companies including Syntrex Systems, Banyan Systems, Cayman Systems, Big Sky Technologies and Ultimus. Recently Bannon served as the VP WW Sales Operations for Phonetic Systems, a leading provider of voice enabled search solutions to the Fortune 500 and Telco markets. Bannon directed the go-to-market strategy for Phonetic Systems from its commercial launch in 1998 until its successful acquisition by Nuance Communications in 2005.
