Mark Balabanian is CFO and GM at Koders. He is primarily responsible for finance and corporate development, however he likes to meddle in marketing and product development. In Mark’s former life, he was a venture capitalist, so he brings his passions for startups and deal-making to Koders. As a Principal at Sienna Ventures, Mark sponsored investments in software, wireless and e-commerce companies including @Motion (acquired by OpenWave, OPWV), Embark (acquired by Princeton Review, REVU), Priceline (PCLN) and Autobytel (ABTL). Prior to Sienna, Mark managed business development for the launch of Ask Jeeves where he established revenue partnerships and alliances. Mark also has experience in M&A, public offerings and private equity as ex-investment banker in New York and San Francisco. Mark holds a BA in Economics from Harvard. |
