Mark Smith has a broad civil practice with substantial industry experience in representing utility, telecommunications, health care and general business clients. His representative engagements in these industry sectors have involved regulatory and transactional matters as well as matters in litigation. Mr. Smith also represents utility, telecommunications and insurance clients before the Tennessee General Assembly. He serves as Assistant General Counsel to an association of over 150 municipal utilities and rural electric cooperatives, and he regularly works with some of the nation's largest municipally owned utilities. He is also a frequent speaker on legislative, telecommunications and utility law issues.
