Mark W. Nelson joined Columbia Bank in 2002 as Executive Vice President and Senior Credit Officer. In January of 2004 he was promoted to Chief Banking Officer.
As Executive Vice President and Chief Banking Officer he directs the bank's commercial and consumer lending and branch banking functions as well as the Private Banking Cash Management Marketing and International departments.
Prior to joining Columbia Bank Mr. Nelson was Senior Vice President and Chief Lending Officer at Whidbey Island Bank. His 30 years of banking experience include serving in different capacities with Evergreen Bank Bank of America and Puget Sound National Bank.
Mr. Nelson is a graduate of Western Washington University with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Business Administration and a Masters of Business Administration. He is a graduate of the Pacific Coast Banking School and earned a Certified Risk Professional designation from the Bank Administration Institute. |
