Mark focuses his practice on intellectual property law and intellectual property litigation. He assists in preparing and prosecuting U.S. and foreign utility and design patent applications for publicly and privately held businesses, institutional clients and individuals. He also assists clients in patent litigation matters. Mark is a member of the American, Ohio and Cleveland Bar Associations, having previously served as news editor for the CBA’s IP Insights Newsletter. He received his law degree, cum laude, from Case Western Reserve University with honors in his concentration of law and technology. He participated in the Journal of International Law, the Intellectual Property Entrepreneurship Clinic and received the ABA/BNA Award for Excellence in the Study of Intellectual Property. Mark’s professional background includes working for General Motors Corp as a manufacturing engineer from 1999-2000. Prior to joining Calfee in 2006, he was employed with Accenture Ltd. as an information technology consultant assisting clients in the banking and insurance industries. |
