Dr. Mercier is a veteran of 22 years in the software industry. Upon receiving his doctorate degree, he entered the workforce as a technical software developer, and quickly earned a reputation for excellence in his field. His inter-personal skills and technical capacity led to many key project role appointments, including lead software architect, project manager, team leader and lead developer for a wide variety of software and instrument development projects. Since joining Chartwell I/T, he has been involved in several web-development projects. Most recently, he performed the duties of System Architect for the successful development of a multi-tiered, intranet-enabled custom application. Dr. Mercier’s leadership was instrumental in guiding a diverse team of technology specialists located throughout the world, including an offshore development group located in India. His skills, extensive experience and excellent communication habits are valuable assets on every project team he leads.
