Since May 2000 Mark Juergensen has invested and participated in several early stage energy companies. This included investments and advisory roles with Agile Turbine technology PredictPower and Capital Hunter. Mr. Juergensen served as vice president for PredictPower an energy solutions software company he co-founded. Mr. Juergensen is a director with Sterling Energy International a power generation management services firm and has been on the Board of the Los Angeles Power Association since 1991. He has delivered presentations or chaired sessions at more than 20 conferences throughout North America on power generation and was on the California EPA Regulatory Reform Task Force for Power Generation.
From 1995 to 2000 he served in multiple leadership positions including as a Commercial Manager for Solar Turbines Caterpillar's gas turbine division. From 1989 to 1995 he served as director of Management Services for Sterling Energy International a power generation management consulting firm and consulted to the power industry. Previously he was an active duty nuclear trained Navy Submarine Officer.
Mr. Juergensen received a bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering from the University of Southern California and is a graduate of its NROTC program. He is a retired senior Navy Officer after 22 years of active and reserve service. Mr. Juergensen serves on the audit compensation and nominations committees of Commerce Energy Group. |
