Mark Weitz focuses his practice on general corporate law, finance and securities law, and mergers and acquisitions. He represents clients in activities such as acquisitions or dispositions of business units, mergers, joint ventures, licensing arrangements, financing transactions, and private and public offerings.
Mark completed the second-largest initial public offering in Minnesota history. He is recognized as one of "America’s Leading Business Lawyers" by Chambers USA and has been named a "SuperLawyer®" by Minnesota Law & Politics magazine for the past seven years.
Prior to joining Leonard, Street and Deinard, Mark was an associate with Stroock & Lavan in New York from 1981 to 1983. He has authored numerous articles including: "Sharing the Wealth-and the Worth," "Taking Stock of the Equity Option," "From Chains of Iron to Ropes of Sand-Employer Withdrawal from Multiemployer Bargaining" and "Trends and Countertrends in Outside Director Liability."
