Mark S. Feuer concentrates his practice in the areas of tax, ERISA and employee benefits matters, and corporate and transactional tax planning. Mr. Feuer also has represented clients in numerous tax-related controversies before the IRS and the courts and has negotiated many complex business transactions for the firm's clients. Mr. Feuer has been named as one of the Best Lawyers in America in the Woodward/ White publication of the same name. He has also been named an "Ohio Super Lawyer" in Law & Politics Magazine and Cincinnati Magazine.Mr. Feuer received his B.A. from Yale College and his J.D., summa cum laude, from the University of Dayton School of Law in 1978. He is a member of the American, Ohio, Dayton and Cincinnati Bar Associations. A frequent lecturer on tax and business law topics, he has taught a graduate level course, Tax Practice and Procedure, at the University of Cincinnati. Prior to joining the firm, Mr. Feuer was General Counsel at the Sugar Creek Packing Company, a member of Smith & Schnacke, L.P.A. and a trial attorney for the Office of the Chief Counsel, Internal Revenue Service. Mr. Feuer is also a member of the Executive Committee, and the immediate past President, of Beth Abraham Synagogue. He is a member of the International Board of the United Synagogue of Conservative Judaism and is the Treasurer of USCJ's Great Lakes and Rivers Region. Mr. Feuer is also active as an adult leader in the Boy Scouts of America, serving as Troop Committee Chairman for Boy Scout Troop 236 and Crew Committee Chair for Venturing Crew 236, and is the Wright Brothers District Chairman, a member of the Executive Board, and a member of the Executive Committee for the Miami Valley Council. |
