Mark Biskamp practices in the areas of real estate, finance and general business law. He is a member of the firm’s real estate, energy, project finance and infrastructure practices.
Mark’s real estate practice involves acquisitions, sales, leasing, development and financing of income producing properties nationally and internationally, including office buildings, industrial parks, apartment complexes, shopping centers, mixed-use developments, hotels, land assemblages and multiple property, portfolio acquisitions and sales. His clients include developers, pension funds, real estate investment trusts and other institutional investors. Mark also assists a number of public and private companies with corporate real estate matters, such as acquisitions, sales and construction of plant and facilities, including medical facilities, energy and renewable energy facilities, sports arenas and infrastructure projects.
Mark’s finance practice includes the national representation of banks and other financial services companies in construction, permanent and mezzanine financing, loan modifications and workouts. He also assists companies as borrower’s counsel in negotiation of financing arrangements in connection with real estate and other company ventures.
Mark’s business practice includes assisting a variety of companies with joint ventures, asset and operational agreements, general business issues and day-to-day business transactions. He often serves as local counsel for companies and lenders expanding operations into Texas. Mark is a former general counsel of companies involved in direct sales, real estate investment, construction, energy, advertising and sponsorship and professional sports and entertainment transactions.
