Mr. Zunich is a staff attorney in the Dayton office of Taft Stettinius and Hollister LLP. He earned a bachelor’s degree in psychology from the University of Southern California, spending one year at the University of Kent, Canterbury, England. He graduated cum laude from the American University, Washington College of Law, serving two years on the staff of The American University Law Review. Mr. Zunich practices in the firm’s Labor & Employment Department. He gained valuable insight for the client’s perspective in labor and employment issues while serving as the Employee Relations Manager and the Human Rights Investigator at the University of Oregon for eight years. Mr. Zunich also has a strong background in addressing the legal challenges facing colleges and universities, based on his prior work in the general counsel’s offices at the University of Dayton and the University of Oregon. He has extensive experience in labor and employment matters, including negotiating collective bargaining agreements and administering all levels of the grievance and discipline process. Mr. Zunich also has significant practical experience with the Americans with Disabilities Act, the Family Medical Leave Act, federal and state anti-discrimination statutes, diversity issues, and mediation and arbitration. |
