Mark R. Woodbury counsels numerous private, nonprofit, and business health care entities with corporate and litigation issues, including antitrust, licensing, employment, legislative, fraud and abuse issues, taxation and tax-exemption matters, medical malpractice claims, physician credentialing, medical staff privileges, and general business and health law matters. His clients include multi-hospital systems, urban and rural hospitals, medical clinics, home health and hospice organizations, managed care organizations, nursing homes, joint ventures, and many individual professionals.
Business and Corporate Law
Mr. Woodbury has assisted many large, medium and small clients with the formation of partnerships, corporations, limited liability companies, limited partnerships and joint ventures, sales, mergers and acquisitions, employment law, banking, UCC, contracts, and industrial and commercial development bonds. He has handled matters ranging in size from a few thousand dollars to multi-million dollar transactions.
Real Estate and Real Property Development Law
Mr. Woodbury has counseled many clients and negotiated and prepared documents regarding real estate contracts, options, deeds, all types of commercial leases, property acquisitions, real estate closings, planning and development, including tax increment financing and urban redevelopment corporations, zoning law, subdivision and land planning, foreclosures and loan workouts, and property tax assessments and appeals.
Estate Planning and Probate
Mr. Woodbury also has extensive experience in Missouri probate proceedings and assisting clients in preparation of wills, trusts and tax planning.
