In the homebuilding business for 25 years, Mark Upton has led TOUSA Homes in implementing many best practice initiatives in the areas of process development, measurement, efficiency, and systems enhancements. He holds responsibility for TOUSA Homes' West Region.
Previously, Mr. Upton served as Division President of TOUSA Home's Arizona division from the division's inception in 1997 through 2002. Prior to joining TOUSA, he was with UDC Homes for 15 years, most recently as Executive Vice President responsible for its five Arizona divisions. Preceding this, he was responsible for the East coast operations, which included North Carolina, South Carolina, Georgia, and Florida. Mr. Upton has also held various management positions with Ryan Homes.
Mr. Upton is a graduate of Michigan State University with a degree in Construction Management and has conducted post-graduate work at the Columbia University Business School.
