n 1995, Mark Ormond left a highly successful career with Price Waterhouse to join Capstone Consulting as a founder and Principal. With Price Waterhouse he had significant US and World Firm responsibilities in Chicago, New York and London. In Chicago he was Vice President of Human Resources for the Tax Technology Group in their Chicago office, where he gained extensive IT industry recruiting experience. He was promoted to the Vice President level from his role as Director of Recruitment for Price Waterhouse's Midwest Region. In that role Mark conducted searches for the Audit, Tax, and Consulting Services departments for Price Waterhouse offices throughout the United States. Mark began his recruiting career in 1982 and during his tenure at Price Waterhouse, he personally managed thousands of searches, both domestic and international, and conducted on-site placement in the Chicago, New York, and London offices.
In addition to his achievements as a search consultant, Mark recently served as a keynote speaker on the topic of search strategy, and the utilization of research and cutting-edge technology in executive recruitment, addressing audiences in Chicago, San Francisco, and Toronto as part of the IQPC's seminar series. Since joining Capstone Consulting, Mark has successfully placed executives across a wide range of industries in various functional areas, and prides himself on establishing ongoing relationships with highly satisfied clients.
Mark is a graduate of the University of Wisconsin, and has gained extensive human resources training through Price Waterhouse's professional development programs, as well as through various seminars and workshops. Mr. Ormond is also the past President of the Printers Row Chamber of Commerce and a Board Member and past President of the Prairie Single Family Homes of Dearborn Park and the founder of the Clubber's Elite Baseball, an urban Chicago baseball academy and program which provides instruction to urban children interested in playing baseball at an advanced level.
