Mark M. McMillin became General Counsel and Corporate Secretary in May 2005 after having served as the Assistant General Counsel for World Airways since December 2003. Mr. McMillin has nearly 19 years of general corporate, transactional and litigation experience including serving as general counsel for companies in the telecommunications and pharmaceutical industries. He is a member of the New York, Connecticut, Virginia, and Washington D.C. bar associations. Prior to entering the legal profession, Mr. McMillin joined GTE through its management training program in 1980 and before that served as a platoon leader with the 11th Armored Cavalry "Black Horse" Regiment in Germany during the late 1970’s and was honorably discharged from the service at the rank of captain. Mr. McMillin obtained his juris doctorate degree from The John Marshall Law School located in Chicago, Illinois and his B.A. in History from Canisius College located in Buffalo, New York |
