Mark L. Yeager is a partner in the law firm of McDermott Will & Emery LLP based in the Firm’s Chicago office. He is a member of the Trial Department, where he has a broad-based litigation and trade regulation practice.
Mark has extensive experience in a wide range of commercial litigation matters and represents multinational and domestic entities. He is a member of the Bars of the States of Florida and Illinois, numerous United States District Courts and Courts of Appeals, and the United States Supreme Court. Mark has represented clients in cases in most states and many federal courts, and he has appeared before numerous administrative agencies. He also has conducted alternative dispute resolution proceedings.
Mark's trade regulation practice primarily focuses on dealer/distributor relations. In addition to litigating disputes in this area, Mark counsels clients in regulated and non-regulated industries with respect to the strategic planning of their distribution systems and the overlay of federal and state statutes and regulations on the distribution process. Mark serves as National Distribution Counsel to a number of prominent companies.
Mark serves on the board of several for-profit and not-for-profit entities, including one publicly traded company. He also chairs the selection committee of the nation’s largest private college scholarship fund and is a member of the alumni advisory board of the Economics Department of the University of Michigan.
