Mr. McNamara is a member of the firm's oil and gas litigation practice group.His extensive litigation experience includes the representation of oil companies in the defense of claims made by landholders regarding property contamination; the defense of landfill and sanitation companies against claims by neighboring landowners and environmental action groups, toxic torts, royalty disputes, bankruptcy matters, commercial litigation and other business disputes. He has also appeared before the Louisiana Department of Environmental Quality, Louisiana Department of National Resources and the Louisiana Public Service Commission on a variety of matters for oil companies, waste and recycling companies and public utilities.He has advised clients regarding a variety of regulatory matters, including compliance with both state and federal regulations for oil and gas, waste disposal, air and water discharge, electric co-generation matters.Mr. McNamara belongs to the Louisiana Association of Defense Counsel, Defense Research Institute and serves on The Board of Trustees for the Algiers Charter School Association. |
