Mark K. Hu was named executive vice president, Whirlpool Asia, in January 2004.
Prior to joining Whirlpool, Hu was senior vice president and general manager of Lighting East Asia for Philips Lighting. Before that assignment, he was vice president and general manager of Lamps in China and Hong Kong for Philips.
Hu earned a bachelor’s degree from the Cornell School of Hotel Management and a master’s of business administration degree from Cornell University’s Johnson Graduate School of Management.
