Mark's practice focuses on energy and infrastructure transactions issues and related matters.
Mark has prepared and negotiated a wide variety of infrastructure-related agreements, including those covering construction; fuel supply and transportation, including LNG; power purchase; and operation and maintenance. He has represented numerous clients in the electrical generating, LNG, wind and coal industries. He also has represented clients in negotiating electricity trading contracts in nascent trading environments and developing generating assets to support trading positions.
In addition to work on behalf of developers and investors, Mark has represented a variety of financial institutions, including lenders, investment banks, and other capital providers and arrangers, in connection with financing a variety of domestic and foreign infrastructure projects and acquisitions, both on a non-recourse and balance sheet basis. Mark has led and participated in a comprehensive range of electricity and gas transactions, including stock and asset divestitures, financings and joint venture arrangements.
