Mark Seal is Georgia Gulf Corporation's Vice President - Building Products. Prior to this position, Mark served as vice president of Georgia Gulf Corporation’s chemicals group starting in May 2005. From 1993 until 2005, Mark served as vice president of Georgia Gulf’s polymers group. He began his employment with Georgia Gulf in 1985 as Midwest regional sales manager, and subsequently moved to business manager of electrochemicals, and then business manager of PVC resins and compounds, before becoming business and manufacturing director of vinyl resins. Prior to joining Georgia Gulf, Mark served as a sales representative then product manager of caustic/chlorine for Georgia Pacific Corporation, from which Georgia Gulf was formed through a management-led leveraged buyout in 1984.
A native of Cincinnati, Ohio, Mark received a B.S. in Chemistry from the University of Cincinnati in 1975.
Mark previously served on the Board of Directors of the Vinyl Institute, and was a member of the Vinyl Siding Institute, and a member of the Plastic and Pipe Fitting Association.
