Mark Rubin is the Chief Financial Officer of New Vernon Capital. Prior to joining New Vernon Capital, Mr. Rubin co-managed an investment partnership and served as CFO for Aerotec, LLC (a private-equity funded engineering services company). Prior to joining Aerotec, Mr. Rubin was a Vice President at Ascent Financial, LLC, a Chicago-based private equity firm, where he was responsible for sourcing and evaluating investment opportunities as well as managing several of the fund’s portfolio companies. Mr. Rubin, an attorney and a CPA, practiced law for three years with Chicago-based Altheimer & Gray focusing on securities and corporate law matters and prior to that, worked as a CPA with Arthur Andersen & Co. Mr. Rubin received his JD, Magna Cum Laude, from the University Of Illinois College Of Law and his BS in Accounting from Indiana University. |
