Mark J. Alvino has served as a Director of MacroChem since May 2007. Mr. Alvino is currently a Managing Director of Griffin Securities. Since 2002, he has served as Managing Director at SCO Financial Group LLC (SCO). Prior to joining SCO, from 2000 to 2002, Mr. Alvino served as Senior Vice President of Feinstein Kean Healthcare (FKH), an Ogilvy Public Relations Worldwide Company. Prior to working at FKH, from 1996 to 2000 Mr. Alvino served as Vice President of Investor Relations and managed the New York Office of Allen & Caron, Inc., an investor relations agency. Earlier in his career, Mr. Alvino spent several years working with Wall Street brokerages including Ladenburg, Thallmann & Co. and Martin Simpson & Co. Mr. Alvino is currently a member of the board of directors of Access Pharmaceuticals, Inc. (OTC:ACCP), a publicly traded company. Mr. Alvino received a B.B.A in Economics and Public Policy from The George Washington University. |
