Mr. Papa was elected Chairman of the Board and Chief Executive Officer of the Company in August 1999 President and CEO and Director in September 1998 President and Chief Operating Officer in September 1997 President in December 1996 and was President- North America Operations from February 1994 to September 1998. Mr. Papa joined Belco Petroleum Corporation a predecessor of the Company in 1981. Mr. Papa is also a director of Oil States International Inc. and Chairman of the U.S. Oil and Gas Association. Mr. Papa is the Company’s principal executive officer.
