Mark G. Metzler is a director with Kreischer Miller. His areas of expertise include manufacturing, distribution and retail companies, long-term care entities, and exempt organizations, including employee benefit plans. In addition, Mark has assisted companies with business transactions, including mergers, acquisitions, divestitures, and roll-ups. He also serves as an instructor for Kreischer Miller's in-house professional training seminars.
Mark graduated magna cum laude from Saint Joseph's University in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. He began his career at KPMG in Philadelphia, where his client service responsibilities included managing audits of closely-held businesses, not-for-profit organizations, and publicly traded companies. After leaving KPMG, Mark was the controller of Gandalf Systems Corporation, an international data communications company located in Cherry Hill, NJ.
He is a member of the American and Pennsylvania Institutes of Certified Public Accountants and the New Jersey Society of Certified Public Accountants. In addition, Mark is a member of Pennsylvania Association of Non-Profit Housing for the Aging, a former member of the PICPA Healthcare Committee and a member of the Finance Committee and a former Board of Director member of the Alzheimer's Association - Delaware Valley Chapter. Mark also serves as the firm's liaison to the AICPA's Employee Benefit Plan Audit Quality Center.
Mark is also active in coaching community athletic programs. |
