Mark E. Erwin was appointed Vice President Commercialization in October 2007. Mr. Erwin brings over 20 years of pharmaceutical and healthcare industry experience to ADVENTRX. Prior to joining ADVENTRX Mr. Erwin served as Sr. Director of Sales & Program Development for San Diego-based Centric Health Finance an innovative company with financial services for private practice oncologists from July 2005 to September 2007. From August 1999 to October 2003 Mr. Erwin served in various positions at IDEC Pharmaceuticals Corp. including Project Team Leader in IDEC's collaboration with Genentech on Rituxan and Head of Government Affairs & Reimbursement. Mr. Erwin also served as Director of Oncology Marketing at Ligand Pharmaceuticals Inc. from October 2003 to June 2005. Mr. Erwin began his career in a variety of sales and marketing roles with Eli Lilly & Co the last of which was as Product Manager for the US launch of Gemzar Lilly's first major oncology product. Mr. Erwin holds a Bachelors of Science degree in Chemistry from Purdue University.
