As President and Chief Operating Officer of P&H Mining Equipment, Mr. Readinger has global responsibility for the company’s surface mining machinery business. He rejoined the company in December 2002. Mr. Readinger recently served as President and CEO of Armillaire Technologies, a high-tech communications equipment company. Prior to that, he was President and COO of Joy Mining Machinery, President and COO of Beloit Corporation and spent time with Texas Instruments and TRW. His prior assignments with Joy Global provide him with a thorough understanding of the company’s life cycle management strategy and a strong commitment to lowering the customers’ cost of operation. Mr. Readinger holds a Bachelor of Science Degree from the United States Military Academy at West Point and an M.B.A. in Marketing from the University of Louisville. He was a White House Fellow and Special Assistant to the President for Domestic and Economic Policy during 1988 and 1989. |
